Reverse Osmosis is a semi permeable membrane process that removes 95%-98% of total dissolved solids, and virtually eliminates virus and bacteria from the feed water.

Under pressure the membrane will only allow pure water to pass through the membrane (Commonly referred to as Permeate.) The remaining water which is high in salts and other impurities (Commonly referred to as Concentrate) will be rejected from the membrane and sent directly to drain.
